Daniel H. WAGNER
Daniel H. Wagner has over 10 years of experience in Talent Management, Consulting and International Business Development. Further key competencies comprise Talent Diaspora, Intersectoral Mobility and topics in the context of Brain Circulation (Brain Drain/ Brain Gain). His current responsibilties as Director of Programmes at the German Scholars Organization (GSO) include Grants Programs on behalf of the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation, the Carl Zeiss Foundation, the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Stiftung and the Dr. Wilhelmy-Stiftung.
He studied Philosophy, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Heidelberg with Scholarship visits at the University of Cambridge (UK), the Institute for Balkan Studies/ IMXA (Greece) and the University of Athens (Greece). After work experience at the German Embassy in Athens he joined an international Recruitment Consultancy and worked there as a Senior Manager, before taking his current position at the GSO. From 2010 he has also been a honorary Senior Advisor at ResearchGate the world’s largest network for scientists. He cooperates with CeRISS as Expert on Mobility of Human Resources in Science and Technology.
