H2020 Proposal Writing Camp in Tbilisi/Georgia, 18 – 20 November 2019

Fri, 12/02/2021

The International Cooperation Service Facility of the EC organized a three-day Proposal Writing Camp in Tbilisi (18 – 20 November 2019) in order to train researchers and innovators from Georgia and Armenia on the way to prepare H2020 proposals and to identify suitable partners in the EU, as well as on how to present their own expertise.

In addition, the Proposal Writing Camp provided information about call openings in Horizon 2020 and on the way to understand a call and decode its text. Participants were trained on important aspects of the content and structure of a proposal, as well as about the evaluation criteria and consortium building. The training involved practical work on H2020 calls, during which the participants drafted in small groups key parts of a tentative proposal.

Dr. George Bonas (Managing Director of CeRISS / Greece) attended the event as Trainer, on behalf of the International Cooperation Service Facility of the European Commission.
