IncoNet EaP project participated at the 2^nd Meeting of the Eastern Partnership Panel on Research and Innovation (EaP Panel on R&I) on 21 May 2014 in Brussels. The meeting was opened by the Chair of the EaP Panel on R&I, Ms Cristina Russo, Director International Cooperation, DG Research & Innovation, European Commission.

Τhe representatives from the EaP countries, the EU Member States and the European Commission discussed the research and innovation cooperation progress since the 1^st meeting of the EaP Panel in November 2013 with emphasis on cooperation on e-infrastructures (EPIC status), while CeRISS -the Scientific Coordinator of IncoNet EaP- presented to the Panel the achievements of the project until now.

The EaP Panel also discussed the next steps to be taken in view of a Joint Strategy marking the thematic priorities and the cross cutting issues jointly identified by the EaP countries and the EU. IncoNet EaP undertook to provide the Panel with a realistic plan of thematic workshops on three societal challenges (Environment, Energy, and Health) the conclusions of which are to be presented to the following meetings of the EaP Panel on R&I.
