Participation of CeRISS at the 21st EARMA Annual Conference in Leiden, 28 June - 1 July 2015
CeRISS participated at the 21st Annual Conference of the European Association for Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA) that took place in Leiden, the Netherlands from 28 June to 1 July 2015.
The title of this year's conference was Global Outreach: Enabling Cultures and Diversity in Research Management & Administration. In the framework of the IncoNet CA Project's outreach activities, a panel of the EARMA conference was dedicated to the "STI International Cooperation Network for the Central Asia countries".
Yannis Kechagiaras, the IncoNet CA project manager, presented the main aims and achievements of the project as well as research challenges in the Central Asia countries. Perpectives for strenghtening the EU-Central Asia cooperation in research management and administration were addressed. The panel conisted of Zygmunt Krasinski, IPPT-PAN/Poland; Kamila Magzieva. InExCB-Kz/Kazakhstan and Mamadsho Ilolov, Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
EARMA members and participating stakeholders from research organisations and universities around Europe attended the panel and participated in a Q&A.
