The Managing Director of CeRISS, Dr. George Bonas, participated at the Scientific strategy meeting "Conference on the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC)" on 27 February 2015 in Brussels.

The meeting took place together with the Scientific Advisory Committee of the ISTC and other members of the scientific communities of all the ISTC Parties in order to deepen the fact finding and defining a common set of guiding principles for future work to be funded in the framework of project funding calls.

The following topics were discussed:

• Identification of future scientific priority areas for the ISTC;
• Identification of the most appropriate funding mechanisms;
• Identification of specific activities to be targeted for young scientists.
